lobbying Asian MPs directly

My name is Vo Cheng.  I’m a gay asian man living in Takapuna, Auckland.

I’m working with some other people lobbying to get the Marriage Equality Bill passed.

Personally, I was also very disappointed with how the vote went among the asian mps.

I’d like to encourage straight and queer Asian people who support marriage equality, to also contact the Asian MPs directly and/or make submissions to the select committee. I think the Bill will have a better chance if there are submissions to the select committee from straight and queer  Asians in New Zealand.

I’m planning to contact each of the Asian mps directly and ask for face-to-face meetings.  It would be excellent if there were others Asians willing to go with me.
